Land of the cream! Left over pizza from Friday Night? Cold onions on a pizza at 6 am -Why not?
Lunch time was pleasant though I decided to go with pick your own ingredient and we cook it in front of you option- which always takes so long and I get self conscious about choosing it because when you are dining with others I think they feel it is rude to choose that option
because you always make it to the table after they've finished eating! But it was great especially since I persuaded them to add a ton of chick peas to my Indian curry! Which mostly flew out of the pan while they were cooking it, but what can I say Just because I choose to have my curry made out of tiny projectiles doesn't mean that the cook should change his cooking method to using a spatula to move the food around in the pan instead of jest flipping it around with a turn of the wrist. I have to say though, thank you! But a deliciously spicy protein filled lunch.
Mushroom feast for dinner!! Which was started by an appetizer of a 90's Perfect Omelet! A perfect omelet every time!! Nick made a wonderful mushroom and vegis lettuce wrap, which was perfectly seasoned. Two thumbs up!! And we cooked a decadent mushroom, spinach alfredo, which I got a little carried away with the cream. I am sorry if I gave everyone a heart attack!
And Guava! Which smells amazing!! I found it, at an extremely cheap price at the new hyvee!! I was a little disappointed with the flavor though, I was hoping it would taste like that tropical smell it was dispersing but not at all. Maybe it wasn't ripe enough? It was certainly soft inside though.
I am a Foodie.
I was a rotary exchange student in Waremme, Belgium 08-09. And Now I the attended University where I currently leave in the dorms and am planning to demystify what exactly college student's eat by taking a picture of everything I eat
