Broccoli was the food of the day! My dinner at Eva J's was pretty good - again as a vegetarian I was happy for the tofu, but I dispised the addition of those chiles to the dish. THey're dried so they gve very little flavor to the actual dish unless you accidently bite into one, which is what happened in my case and end up chugging an entire glass of milk. So they don't add flavor, they impede my eating and their wasteful. I guess it allows the dining hall to move the food into the gourmet category since they're using a garnish but the chili would be better used if it had been soaked in the sauce before hand and then removed prior to cooking. The meal was great though, especially with the addition of the picked cucumbers. At lunch they were trying out a new salad dressing, which I give thumbs up because its not like the heavy bottled pre-made dressings that are usually available that when I add them to my salad wish that i had never even decided to eat a salad that day. So I am excited and hope to see the new salad dressing because it would promote my vegetable intake. Who can say anything about a humongous blue popsicle that has no distinguishable flavor but turns your tongue blue!!!
