So this is what I eat at home, when I get to cook. I am missing a picture of a chocolate chip cranberry cookie which I ate for breakfast. The graham cracker, which I had as a mid morning snack was quite stale it had been hanging out in the cracker jar and thus when eaten tasted of cracker it even tasted salty! Who knew the salty flavor could transfer via air? Ah! My favorite cheese!! Aged Gouda! Nothing tops the list like aged gouda. Strong, Creamy and it has a bite! For Lunch a made an old Belgium Favorite. Endive wrapped in ham and topped with béchamel sauce and swiss cheese. It tasted fabulous! I bit of last year, all wrapped up in a warm package. The endive I had was not as bitter as the endive in Belgium, which did not give as much of a reason to drown it in fat. But it was good - so, so what! Organina - A taste of Paris! and a special treat for me! After working on my research project on French/American food for Food, Film and Culture class- I had become obsessed with Julia Child! She seems to easily infect people with her charm and passion for French food. So I was obliged at the farmers market to pick out ingredients to make a lamb stew, which required being cooked for 5 hours but turned out simply decadent, as I believe Julia would put it. Melt in the mouth!! Also I finished the day with a mini strawberry tart, which I made out of the inspiration of their being he first strawberries of the year at the farmers market. Nothing makes a better tart then a farm fresh ripened strawberry! The perfume off of the strawberry is nothing past extraordinary!
