Oh- OJ you look so graceful there lying on your side.
Mizuho made us a delicious lunch!! A real treat from Japan! I don't think I have every had anything like this before. When we generally think of Japanese food we thin Sushi and maybe if we're enlightened a little dumplings and miso soup. But this was like a curried rice topped with an omelet (the yellow dome) and covered in an altered Japanese curry that was really flavorful! It was excellent!! I need to cook with you Mizuho, more often!! The rice was excellent and the sauce was sweet, salty and meaty-- a perfect combo!
Campfire food. You really can't say more about the topic. Your cold, wet and hungry -- so everything taste delicious. My potato and vegis foil packet took three times longer than anybody else's. I think it had to do with poor placement in the fire and also with my refusal to eat my potatoes anywhere near not over done. A copious amount of cheese really made the perfect meal.I finished off the meal by making one of Rachel's concoctions. A cored out apple filled with red hots and stopper closed with two large marshmallows, wrapped in foil and tossed and forgotten in the fire until when poked with a stick the packet mushes easily. The red hots turn the inside of the apple red bloody looking and give a hot cinnamony (slightly ketchup --only in my opinion though) taste to the apple. And the marshmallows melt away and burn on the side while slightly sweetening the apple.
I am a Foodie.
I was a rotary exchange student in Waremme, Belgium 08-09. And Now I the attended University where I currently leave in the dorms and am planning to demystify what exactly college student's eat by taking a picture of everything I eat
