Dinner was Food of Missouri!! Kudos to the dining hall!!!!! Everything was fantastic. I am so glad the dinning hall took an initiative to do such a big dinner like this. It must of been hard to find enough supplies to provide all the dining halls with exactly the same food, and doing it sophisticatedly too! Awesome! If only they would convert one entire dining hall into just local food. But it was fantastic. My favorite were the beets and the lamb stew, and the trout mousse. And I am sorry to the poor food server who I heckled until he gave me the root beer float without the ice cream. I am sorry, I'm not really lactose intolerant, I just hate on some particular occasions the particular foam that the root beer and ice cream makes when they react with each other. I mean sometimes I crave that weird sea foam like texture and at other times I feel like it might be the death of me.
